
A roleplaying game from FASA which in my opinion has superior game mechanics to AD&D. Speaking of mechanics, we did have to develop and fix the wimpy spellcasting, the five year plan skill system, and some of the uneven talents to make it more interesting and balanced to play. Earthdawn is kind of a cross between high adventure ("Must find evil creature. Must destroy evil creature.") and horror ("Ew, evil creature has slimy glowing tentacles which it is wrapping around my head.") The way we play it, there is also lots of humor ("Must attempt to tell my elemental how to remove the slimy tentacles from my head without also removing my head.").

This is a long running campaign which started out with a different GM as "Barsaive" and then moved to a new GM (now the old one gets to play a character) and a new continent, which as you may have guessed is called "Kellawan."
